Miami Beach in 1964 is very different to Miami Beach in 2011. Much of the great architecture still exists thankfully, thanks to Barbara Baer Capitman and Leonard Horowitz, but the island city is very different. I still love South Beach—-but I wish I could have witnessed the 60’s playground first hand.
